Paul has successfully underwritten over 1 billion in transactions the last 5 years.

After a professional consulting career and extensive experience in finance project management and as a corporate finance manager, Norman worked as a senior manager and compliance officer for an international insurance group (Paris, London, Dubai), being responsible for the conception and implementation of process optimizations throughout the entire finance organization. Norman Scherer was also responsible for the planning, design and implementation of complex financial transactions and the optimization of financial processes. Norman holds a M.B.A. from Durham University as well as from EBS University of Economics and Law Oestrich-Winkel and a B.A. degree in Accounting (HGB/IFRS) & Controlling as well as an IREBS International Real Estate Business School, EBS Real Estate Management Institute).

Additionally she worked with credit proposals for legal and physical clients, what allows Pilar to communicate with Portfolio Management and Compliance in order to complete the required documentation.

She assists Xavier in Compliance execution and monitoring on a daily basis, as well as being involved in the Back office.

Alfredo’s twenty years of experience in Private Banking and Asset Management in top tier institutions including BBVA and two of the biggest family offices in the world, where in one was responsible of real estate investments and Hotels for Spain, make him qualified for the position of independent party for the Investment committee, specially now the AIFM is expanding to other countries like Spain, where his knowledge will be an additional value added at the Investment committee.

Tatiana has been with the firm since the start, assisting the Chairman of the Investment Committee, Paul Hunt, on the daily operations of underwriting loans. Tatiana did also structure the company’s internal system to follow up on a regular basis, with investors compliance, AML/KYC, payments, as well as dealing with the front office of the firm. She communicates and coordinates with several functions/departments at the firm.

Danilo, the second independent member of the Board of Managers of the AIFM with Javier, brings also a diverse background having been in several positions which will bring a global vision of an asset management firm, having been in the Audit department of one of the big 4, Head of Administration at a Bank and General Manager and director at several funds. Additionally all his professional career has been in Luxembourg making him well positioned for being an independent member of the board.

Javier is an independent member of the Board of Managers of the AIFM, together with Danielo and Josep. Javier’s previous positions and background qualify him to bring the regulatory and independence to the Board of Managers of the AIFM. Javier’s positions in the past range from Deputy Manager at a major Spanish firm to an executive position at a major Swiss bank as well as managing clients portfolios, allowing such a diverse background, to have a broad perspective in many of the sides of the asset management business.

Lamias’s education with a Phd in Finance, allows her to perform on a daily basis the tasks required in Risk Management, where she assists Josep on a daily basis. Her previous positions as head of Risk & Investment Compliance Monitoring at a Luxembourg bank, qualifies her for the future position of Head Risk Manager. She has also taken a role in developing internal ESG policies at the fund, in order for the fund to promote ESG onto our borrowers.
